Mia and Penna Ziering’s Camp Birthday
With the Ziering Girls sharing their birthday (April 25th), I decided to throw them a group playdate for one of their birthday parties. This year, Mia has really been into Girl Scouts. Penna’s favorite place to play is AuFudge Camp. With these two ideas, I decided to create a camp themed party / playdate for my girls. I let each of them invite 5 friends to pretend camp-out. We had the best time painting bird houses, rocks and earning badges for different activities in the play space. The hit of the party was definitly getting to earn their very own girl scout badges. They each had green sashes and earned badges for different things from completing a 10 minute dance party to climbing the rock wall in the play room. The girls chowed down on pizza and simple cupcakes from our local grocery store. The play ants were my special touch. For the decor I wanted to match the color sceme of Au Fudge Camp so I chose blue gingham and green with a touch of pink. To take it to the next level for our Camp Birthday we got camp themed plates from Meri Meri and the canteens from Amazon ! The tee-pee worked as the perfect photo op for the girls camp birthday.
