Holiday Movie Classics
Erin: When I think of Christmas time, I remember coming in from the cold, grabbing a hot cocoa and cuddling on the couch with my mom. Day after day we would watch my favorite Holiday Movie Classics , from Rudolph to Frosty, like no other cartoons existed for a month. I was so excited to partner with DreamWorks Animation to share my favorite moments of their holiday classics collection! Each movie sharing a very special holiday message!
The girls and I put on our favorite holiday jammies and cuddled in my bed with our popcorn to share these memories and keep the tradition alive! We loved the classic film, Santa Claus is Coming to town. The story of Kris and Jessica becoming – as we know them, Mr and Mrs Claus! This holiday movie classic has one of my favorite messages, to be kind and spread cheer!
Veena: As soon as the holiday season kicks off with Thanksgiving, all I can remember as a child is watching Christmas movies with my family. One of my all time favorites was Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Not only is the song amazing (it’s a classic as old as time), the movie is magical because of the Japanese stop motion animation called “Animagic.” It truly is magical because as a child and now as a mom I am still completely captivated by the characters made out of wood and plastic. There is no modern day special effects, just a slow and beautiful movie about Christmas spirit. As a mom, I love the new tradition my little guy and I have of making cookies before we watch our first Christmas movie of the season together. I hope this tradition will continue for generations to come in our family.
