By; Erin Ziering To be honest, when Ian presented me with the opportunity to visit him on set of the Sharknado 5, filming in London, I didn't want to pack my bags. My first response was, "What about our babies?" Ian quickly reminded me that our children are no longer "babies" and that they would be fine and happy with my parents. He also reminded me the importance of our marriage and staying connected. The reason we have such happy girls is because we are happy. With him being away for 2 ... continue reading...
Our Love Story- How we met
Erin and Ian By: Erin Ziering One of the questions I get asked the most about Ian is how we met. Let me tell you a little story.... I was a cardiac nurse in Ohio and was offered an amazing opportunity as a travel nurse. I came from a hard working family and we didn't have a lot of opportunities to travel as children. This seemed like the perfect plan! A free journey to see the country. My first offer was to Los Angeles, California. I hadn't even visited west of the state of Ohio at this ... continue reading...

Camp Birthday Bash with The Ziering Girls
With the Ziering Girls sharing their birthday (April 25th), I decided to throw them a group playdate for one of their birthday parties. This year, Mia has really been into Girl Scouts. Penna's favorite place to play is AuFudge Camp. With these two ideas, I decided to create a camp themed party / playdate for my girls. I let each of them invite 5 friends to pretend camp-out. We had the best time painting bird houses, rocks and earning badges for different activities in the play space. ... continue reading...
Tully LA Movie Premiere
One of the most anticipated movies of the year for Moms around the country is Tully. Tully is a dramedy (drama & comedy) that showcases the best and toughest moments of motherhood as Marlo begins her life as a mother of a newborn and two school aged children. This is the first time I have seen a movie so realistically depict the first months of motherhood. Theron brilliantly shows the monotony of getting up, breastfeeding, changing diapers, dropping kids off at school, barely sleeping ... continue reading...
Show Dogs World Premiere and Press Conference
The Millennial Mamas moderated the press conference for the new family action adventure movie coming out this May 18th, Show Dogs. The press conference was like no other we have ever attended, meaning both press and actors were doubled over laughing and laughing some more until they cried. Now if only all press conferences were this funny. So what exactly made this the funniest press conferences to have ever existed... kids. Kids asking questions without any parameters from any ... continue reading...
Pandas: IMAX Movie Premiere
Anyone else obsessed with PANDAS? We sure are! They are cute and cuddly looking, so what is not to love??? The newest adventure documentary PANDAS was the most adorable IMAX movie I have ever seen, not to mention it was so eye opening about how endangered these animals are. Pandas from David Douglas and Drew Fellman ("Born to Be Wild" and "Island of Lemurs: Madagascar") brings you on a journey from the US to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China where scientists are ... continue reading...
Baby2Baby Founders: Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein
Fun fact about ME: I used to work in non-profits doing development work & large scale special events. I also worked at a giving foundation as a program manager for years, so advocating the good work of non-profits in my local community is something I still practice today Recently TIAA challenged me to find an amazing do-gooder aka a difference maker in the community that I could nominate for a $10,000 grant for their Difference Maker 100 initiative. I had a hard time recommending one ... continue reading...
South Africa with Erin and Ian
South Africa, that spot on the map that is pretty low down and seems so far away. That place where you have to get lots of extra vaccines that you don't even question and take some strange pills that make you sick ahead of time. That place that they talk about on the news... When Ian approached me about an upcoming opportunity for us to go to South Africa on Safari, again my first response was, "I'm good, I will stay home with the babies." He quickly reminded me again that we no longer have ... continue reading...
