The collection is the creation of west coast mama Diana Ramos, inspired by the magic of childhood and her beloved grandmother, Wilfrida. Diana’s grandmother had many talents, but the most impactful was her ability to sew and create beautiful clothes for her grandchildren. Now that Diana is mama to her own two beautiful girls, her grandmother’s imprint on her childhood shines brighter than ever.

Chaboukie is ethically made in LA – they focus on comfortable, fashion forward clothes and our styles are inspired by vintage design and ethnic prints.

Their organic cotton bodysuit sets are hand-dyed in Ayurvedic herbs (turmeric, holy basil, indigo, vetiver etc) chosen for their wellness properties by a cooperative in India. The hand-dyeing process is completely chemical free and the dye waste is used the nourish the land. The production process also provides economic opportunities to organic farmers, tribal groups and hand-dyers. They also donate 5% of our profits to Every Mother Counts.

Their toys are made from sustainable wood by artisans using a traditional lacware technique. They are fair trade certified and colored with natural dyes (the yellow is turmeric and dark blue is indigo.
