Anyone else obsessed with PANDAS? We sure are! They are cute and cuddly looking, so what is not to love???

The newest adventure documentary PANDAS was the most adorable IMAX movie I have ever seen, not to mention it was so eye opening about how endangered these animals are. Pandas from David Douglas and Drew Fellman (“Born to Be Wild” and “Island of Lemurs: Madagascar”) brings you on a journey from the US to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China where scientists are working toward a goal of releasing captive-born pandas into the wild, where only about 2,000 remaining pandas live.

In the course of the movie, American conservation biologist Jake Owens, whom Douglas calls “the Indiana Jones of biologists” to helps to supervise Qian Qian’s transition from city panda to country panda.
One of our favorite millennial mom actresses, Kristen Bell narrates the movie. Although she got involved later in the process and did not get to meet the pandas but hopes that one day she will. Bell is a lover of nature documentaries and said that she and her young daughters Lincoln and Delta particularly love David Attenborough and the “Planet Earth” series.
