So whats new at Universal Studios in Hollywood…SO MUCH!
We had the opportunity to check out all the FUN during the summer media day and this is what we found:
DreamWorks Theatre featuring “Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest
Right after this adorable and hilarious show we had to stop and meet Mr. Ping of Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop. This is a MUST to capture on video because you will be giggling for days after. Mr. Ping is hilarious, interactive and he shares his secret to his amazing noodles…nothing! If you believe they are special they will be and honestly isn’t that the metaphor for ilife???
I didn’t totally believe Mr. Ping when he said that his noodles didn’t have a special ingredient because we went and had some Bao and Noodles and I have to say it was SUPER GOOD! Having some Chinese fare was a nice change up of what we usually get at Universal Studios
With our bellies full, we headed over to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter to check out all the fun. We have seen the movie and currently reading the first book, so it was super cool to see the book/movie come to life and cast some of our own spells. We bought a wand and tested out our spellbound magic including some of the new magic like Incendio fire-making spell and the Alohomora unlocking spell

Learning to Cast Spells
We just might also have to come back and ramp up our Harry potter gear with Gladrags Wizardwear. They have the coolest new high-end costume replicas of Professor Severus Snape’s robe and Hermione’s Yule Ball dress and since they are available in both kids and adult sizes…you see where I am going with this…
Since we had full bellies we didn’t try the new lunchtime menu items at Three Broomsticks, including Ploughman’s Lunch, Cheese Toastie with Chicken and Sunday Roast Sandwich but you know we will be back soon and out definitely will try this out. The names alone make it worth ordering. We will be back to see “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” as it returns nightly from now to August 19 and back again September 1-3
I think we could have casted spells all day long, but it was hot day at Universal Studios and we wanted to cool down so we went over to experience “Jurassic Park—The Ride” one last time before it goes extinct on September 3, 2018, in preparation for the new “Jurassic World Ride” coming in 2019
And as always we love Confront Blue, one of the most popular velociraptor from the blockbuster Jurassic World franchise, at the park’s “Raptor Encounter”
