We love a girls night out any day of the week but we also love a girls night in. When we saw that our favorite new Christmas movie this year was available on DVD, we knew we had to have our girlfriends over to celebrate so we grabbed our very favorite Bad Moms and had a Galentine’s Day party.
A Bad Moms Christmas perfectly captures all the classic parts of Christmas that can put many of us moms over the edge, including a special visit from your own mother in the funniest way possible. This movie brought in the dynamic of the mother-daughter relationship and didn’t disappoint with its amazing cast which included Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines and Susan Sarandon. One of our favorite parts of the movie was figuring out which one of the Bad Moms grandmas showcased our current mothering skills!
Without telling you two much we have a strong feeling that we will be seeing much more of this pack of Grandmas and we can’t wait!
So grab your girlfriends and mom friends, like we did and plan a girls night in and watch this movie.
Normally we love a good meat and cheese tray, crudite and a main dish but we decided to switch it up and go for a Greek finger food night which included dolmas, hummus, tzatziki, baba ganoush, grilled chicken, kalamata olives complete with fresh, warm pita bread. It was a Bad Moms night so we definitely had a red and white wine option on hand as well as some small decadent mini dark chocolate cupcakes to finish the night off.
Even though we have seen this movie more times than we can count on our hands, it still makes us laugh until we cry each and every time.
