I recently had the pleasure of being a special guest at the Jonathan Antin Salon. This prestigious and ergonomically correct, 2000 square foot salon – in the heart of Beverly Hills – is reminiscent of a NYC, contemporary, art gallery loft space. Featuring two expansive stories, with an out door enclave on the upper floor, majestic high ceilings and impressive patina. Here I was able to have amazing celebrity colorest, Michelle Pugh, lighten my hair and the ever talented and famous Jonathan Antin give me the perfect cut! Who you may know from his hit TV shows but prior to Antins worldwide success with his television tenure, he was the premiere “go to” celebrity stylist for the likes of Madonna, Jlo, Ricky Martin, Jewel, Christina Applegate, Charlize Theron, just to name a few. (now adding a Millennial Mama to that list!)

For most of the 2000’s Antin, unlike many of his contemporaries, left the salon world – so to speak – and reigned the world of TV cable network, paving the way with his visionary idea of the award winning show “BLOW OUT”. Introducing fans and viewers, on a global level, to the trials and tribulations of the hot, Hollywood hair world. Jonathan Antin, aptly titled the OG of this beauty arena, garnished a 3 year episodic collaboration with Bravo and continued success post “Blow Out” where he hosted and judged Bravo’s “Sheer Genius”. Antin regularly appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and other TV formats, also traveling the world launching his signature products, and speaking on behalf of the world of beauty – from the artistic side to the business aspect.
Antin, after a decade of the bright lights of the TV studios, has gone back to his “roots” and returned to his first love – being at the helm of his namesake salon and creating great styles and on point precision cuts.
