The Leap! movie is the Weinstein Group’s latest hit for kids of all ages. We were lucky enough to join in on the Los Angeles premiere fun at The Grove over the weekend. The red carpet was bubbling with excitement with stars of the movie Maddie Ziegler and Carly Rae Jepsen. As soon as we headed inside, we were treated to decorating our very own Sprinkles cupcakes and decorating some fun new notebooks from our friends over at Yoobi.

Maddie Ziegler and Carly Rae Jepsen
We headed into theater to watch this highly anticipated kids movie, which I have to say I might have enjoyed the Leap! movie more than my kid.
So what is the movie about?
It is a beautiful and inspiring story about a young girl that is an orphan named Felicie, voiced by Elle Fanning. Felicie dreams of becoming a famous ballerina performing at the Grand Opera House in Paris. Felicie and her best friend Victor try to escape the orphanage on a regular basis but one night they finally succeed and find themselves waking up in the bustling city of Paris. From there they go on various adventures to pursue their individual dreams.

What we love:
The strong theme that you should NEVER give up on your dreams. It is such an easy theme for kids to pick up on and the movie does a beautiful job of inspiring young boys and girls to dream big and never stop chasing your dreams. I loved that there were no “scary” parts of the movie, the music was catchy and the little girl in me was smiling ear to ear. I think this is an appropriate movie for kids of any age.
