We all watch Dancing with the Stars and have likely wondered how through all that rigorous dancing, the dancer’s makeup remains flawless. Now while we don’t know the exact secrets of how you can survive the Cha Cha, we got a second to chat with the ever gorgeous Karina Smirnoff yesterday about her new makeup line collaboration with LA Splash Cosmetics at the Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills, which includes:
Karina Smirnoff Collection for LA Splash
- Super high pigment liquid lipstick which is matte (so on trend) in a variety of colors. It is smudge-proof and lasts for hours
- A slim liquid eyeliner that is waterproof that stays on all day and night. a girlfriend tried it and literally says you can wear without smudging or peeling off for days. We love that it is quick-dry and does not feather
- A mascara that is smudge proof…always a FAN! This mascara was designed to make lashes look thicker and bolder
Nail Garden Manis
At the media preview, we were treated to manis by the Nail Garden, Peroni Beers, H2Rose, Polkatot cupcakes, a lipstick reader and makeup touch-ups with the brand new Karina Collection. I have to say the I LOVE that glitter is back. I did a light gold little on my lid and inner eye to bring a fresh glow. I also tried out the liquid lipstick. It dries crazy quick and can only be removed with some serious makeup wipes, so choose a color carefully. It can feel a little drying on the lips at first and then it feels like nothing is on. Best part is that there are no lipstick residues that you leave on glasses or napkins. Your lips will remain picture perfect at all times.
We left before the red carpet began, but had a great time checking our the new LA Splash line for Karina Smirnoff!
