We don’t do a TON of tech time but let’s be honest…sometimes I just need a few minutes to myself, so therefore I am always looking for an age appropriate show for my little guy. I am always looking for content that is engaging and fun yet not to mature. There is so much time to be a grown up, I am always a fan of savoring the sweet and innocent moments of childhood. With that said, I am always excited to check out the latest shows for kids. Yesterday, we headed over to The Grove in LA to check out the latest Netflix Show coming out today called True and the Rainbow Kingdom.

So what is True and the Rainbow Kingdom about:
True and the Rainbow Kingdom is about an 8-year-old girl named True and her little sidekick and BFF Bartleby (a cat). True and Bartleby live in the Rainbow Kingdom (pretty much the coolest thing ever) and basically work as little whimsical detectives. True finds a case, visits the amazing Wishing Tree to gather the correct 3 wishes she will need to solve the case and then sets out with her cat to solve the mystery. The show has a very fun positive vibe to it, engaging for both kids and adults , teaches compassion/empathy and has a Japanese animation quality to it.

Pharrell Williams
True and the Rainbow Kingdom has 10 shows available on Netflix today, August 11th and there is no doubt in my mind that we will see at least another season. The series is produced by Guru Studio, in collaboration with Pharrell Williams’ i am OTHER, world-renowned artist collective, FriendsWithYou and Home Plate Entertainment.
This new show is quite possibly one of my favorite shows for kids right now. The short episodes fly by. Definitely head over to Netflix to check it out!
