Looking for the perfect girls weekend? I found ours right in Southern California at Great Wolf Lodge. This indoor water-park is loaded with non stop fun for all ages. We took our 1 1/2 hour drive on a rainy day from Los Angeles to Garden Grove. From the minute we walked through the door we were greeted with rustic cabin charm and lots of smiles from everyone. The girls got their wolf ears on and were so excited to get to their adventures in the resort. After checking into our suite, we headed to the Creation Station to make their very own wolf to cuddle with during this trip. They got to choose their favorite character and stuff the animal themselves! They even picked out their own outfits for them.
From the Creation Station we headed to MagiQuest to start their adventure fun! With MagiQuest the girls are able to xxplore the lodge and take part in the adventure of a lifetime! MagiQuest turns Great Wolf Lodge into a live-action game where you’re the star. You’ll choose a special magic wand, top it with extra powers, and set off on a quest. You can play for a few minutes or all day. They can even take their wand home and continue their adventure on their next trip to Great Wolf Lodge.
And any girls trip wouldn’t be complete with out a trip to the spa of course! The Ziering Girls and I took a detour on our way to the water park to indulge at Scooops Kids Spa! This sweet retreat comes complete with ice cream-themed fizzy soaks, sherbet scrubs and yummy nail colors. The girls and I felt like dazzling stars as we sat on our banana split throne in our take-home tiara.
After beauty and adventures these girls couldn’t wait to get wet and wild! From the Racoon Lagoon to Fort Mackenzie, these girls were non stop while I relaxed at my cool cabana rental with a cocktail! I couldn’t avoid the water all day, these girls even got me soaked in the wave pool!
