If you are looking for the must watch summer movie for 2018…look no further because Hotel Transylvania 3 is it! How can you go wrong with monsters on a family vacation on a cruise ship??? The simple answer is that you cant.

We were lucky enough to get in a little sneak preview at the World Premiere on June 22nd in Los Angeles. We got the privilege of chatting with the director of all three Hotel Transylvania’s Genndy Tartakovsky and we learned an interesting tidbit. This third installment was based on his own family’s summer vacation a cruise ship. I think this is the reason that movie is so amazing. You almost feel like you went on the cruise with Dracula, Mavis, the Van Helsings and the rest of the gang.

While Hotel Transylvania 3 a fantastic movie for families, it is not just for those with kids. The kitty lines will have you laughing long after leaving the theater and looking at “toots” and garlic in a whole new way. You will relate to having a parent like Dracula using his mobile phone to date and being completely overwhelmed as well as not letting his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez) spread her wings and fly, literally and figuratively.
